Moore Park construction update

30 May 2017

There is more track on the way for Moore Park, with work getting underway to lay track in zone 22, Anzac Parade between Lang Road and Alison Road. Following extensive stormwater work in this area, track is now being installed at a fast pace. Track installation is also continuing on Alison Road, between Anzac Parade and Darley Road.

In zone 23, Alison Road between Anzac Parade and Darley Road, work is underway to build the Alison Road stop. This stop will be one of the first to be completed in mid-2017. Night work is also taking place in this area to lay cables for the substation in the Randwick Stabling Yard.

In Moore Park West, the portal that will connect the light rail tunnel with the Eastern Distributor bridge is under construction. The light rail will travel from Surry Hills, across South Dowling Street and over the Eastern Distributor bridge, before continuing under the Moore Park playing fields and Anzac Parade and returning to the surface outside the Allianz Stadium and Sydney Cricket Ground.
