Utility relocation works at Rawson Place
31 May to 26 June 2015

Laing O’Rourke will be carrying out utility works on Pitt Street at Rawson Place in preparation for the construction of the new light rail. The works to relocate existing buried services will take place on two Sundays for a 24-hour period as well as during the week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Works will involve localised traffic changes including road closures, lanes closures and detours.

ALTRAC will be carrying out surveys, geotechnical investigations and potholing in preparation for main construction work, which is set to begin later this year.  Work at any one location will not be continuous and further information to potentially affected properties will be provided throughout the works.

Where possible, survey work will occur during standard day time hours to minimise impacts. Works will involve localised traffic and pedestrian changes including lane closures.

Works continue at Olivia Gardens in Surry Hills  
May 2015

The Olivia Gardens residential complex in Surry Hills is currently being demolished in preparation for construction of the CSELR. Some activities commenced in December 2014 to prepare the site for demolition. Main demolition works commenced in February 2015 and will continue throughout May 2015.
